Il week-end alle porte si preannuncia davvero agitato, anche se le previsioni stanno cambiando di aggiornamento in aggiornamento.

Tutto il Nord d’Italia sembra si sia dato appuntamento per domenica mattina a Sottomarina, ma sicuramente ci sarà da divertirsi in tante altre zone come la Liguria, la Sardegna, Sicilia, Lazio e chi più ne ha più ne metta…. d’altronde la perturbazione Cassandra tanto annunciata e temuta da tutti i telegiornali dovrebbe perlomeno farci divertire alla grande nel week end. Ok le temperature saranno un po’ basse… ma sono fiducioso che almeno l’acqua un po’ ovunque sarà ancora calda… fino all’altro giorno si potevano fare i bagni!

E in tutto questo bel casino ci sono 3 eventi alle porte, partendo dal Trofeo Cippa di Albisola (e probabilmente questa volta di cippa non se ne parlerà), per poi passare a una tappa dell’EFPT a Six Fours dove danno una “smanata” mai vista di Mistral (sarà forse troppo…?), per poi concludere con il EFPKT di Premantura, Croazia.

Quindi i “grandi” come Mattia Fabrizi, Jacopo Testa, Marco Livraghi, Matteo Romeo e Francesco Cappuzzo sono diretti in Francia; i “piccoli” e sono davvero piccoli, come Riccardo Marca e Nicolò Tagliafico sono diretti in Croazia. Vedremo come andrà!

Avevo promesso che non avrei più fatto previsioni per un paio di mesi dopo le mie ultime due “gufate”… ma confido nella forza di Cassandra questa volta! Confortato anche dall’ottima previsione di papà Fabrizi che mentre stavamo facendo due chiacchiere domenica mattina aspettando il Peler al Pra (che per la cronaca non è arrivato… presentandosi invece tutti gli altri giorni della settimana in cui non potevo esserci…) mi ha raccontato del brutto episodio di furti di Sylt. A Mattia Fabrizi hanno rubato il suo Fanatic Skate 100 e quindi pensava di non andare all’EFPT di Six Fours perchè aveva solo il 90 a disposizione e sarebbe stato troppo piccolo. Tony Fabrizi, il papà, commentava: “Dove vuoi che vada Mattia con il 90 che in Francia non danno vento per il prossimo week-end!”. Bene… Mattia si è iscritto lall’ultimo alla gara e in questo momento si trova già in Francia…. e sicuramente non avrà bisogno del 100 litri… a proposito di previsioni azzeccate!

Forecast of the week-end
It’s still difficult to make a prediction regarding the wind forecast. However, the organisers will spend the whole Friday setting up everything under rainshowers due to the possibility that the local wind, the Mistral, starts to kick in the day after! This is still to be confirmed as the weather is very unsettled these last days. Yet the strong Mistral could help launch the first heats of the single elimination from saturday afternoon! If this is the case, be prepared for some great action at the beach with very technical conditions for the freestylers and follow us live on the web!

The event will be broadcasted live!
This year the EFE will be live broadcasted on the web via Dailymotion and will therefor be visible worldwide. This initiative is a first on a local sporting event. The ‘live’ cell will be visible from Saturday 27th to Wednesday 31st, 10am to 5pm on our website www.efe-sixfours.com/videos/live or on Dailymotion http://www.dailymotion.com/efe2012.

Interview with Nikos Athanasiou, single Greek rider at the event!
He is coming from far away to compete on this EFPT stage in Six Fours and will be the only rider to represent his country Greece – Nikos Athanasiou! Apart from Disneyland in Paris that he visited as a kid, he does not know much about France. He is a very motivated and passionate sailor and he will travel from Greece to face the other 35 pre-registered riders. We thought that this guy deserves an interview! Video contest : last minute success!
Launched on 1st of July, the amateur video contest has struggled to take off, but after 15 more days, the videos have been turned in one after the other and we received 13 clips in total! On October 22, the jury had to pick the top five videos which will be presented on Sunday evening at the ‘Windsurfing Movies Festival’ in le Brusc. A permanent photo exhibition
The public will be invited to discover a few stands in the marquee village of the EFE as well as a permanent photo exhibition with the best shots selected from amateur photographers who are fans of windsurfing. Certainly another great addition to come down and check out the event site!
