Con un po’ di ritardo causa vento e onde…

EFPKT DAY 2
Nel secondo giorno dell’ evento si è dato il via alle gare! Il vento ha cominciato sin dalla notte a soffiare molto forte, e già in mattinata era da 4,2 piena! Hanno cominciato i Pro kids (i più piccoli), a darsi battaglia sul choppatissimo campo di regata, ma purtroppo il nostro italiano Nicolò Tagliafico è uscita alla prima heat contro il fortissimo Steven Max! La classifica provvisoria dei ProKids è:
1° Steven Max
2° Kostantin Smirnov
3° David Schiebel
Dopo i Pro Kids sono entrati in acqua gli junior U17, dove il nostro Riccardo Marca si è difeso alla grande, piazzandosi al 3°posto della classifica provvisoria!! infatti la classifica provissoria degli junior U17 è:
1° Steven Max
2° Kostantin Smirnov
3° Riccardo Marca
Per ultimi siamo entrati in acqua noi, con un vento micidiale! Io (Giovanni Passani) ho passato tutte le heat, fino a quando il fortissimo rider Yentel Caers mi ha negato l’accesso alla finalissima e quindi domani mi gioco il gradino più basso del podio contro Paul Simmerl! Mentre a giocarsi la finalissima sono Yentel contro Rafael De Windt! Visto il livello sarà una finale entusiasmante, a colpi di Skopu, Burner e Shaka!!!

2012 IFCA EU FREESTYLE CHAMPIONSHIP DAY 3
Skippers meeting was held at 10:00am, the weather forecast predicted up to 25 knots winds in the afternoon but the wind direction was off shore so on the inside of the bay the winds were too unstable to run the last rounds of the Youths finals. While waiting for the winds to get better with the next possible start postponed until noon, a football tournament was organized with 4 teams including a local team.
After a three course meal lunch, the winds got even less so a horse riding session took place and some riders and the head judge had their first time on a horse!
The competition was called off and everyone gathered for a little hang out at the local Safari Bar, an unusual place inside the Kamenjak nature park with the most beautiful view over the Mediterranean Sea.
Later in the evening, the official dinner is organized for all competitors in a high standard restaurant of Premantura.
